AITI Hosts Awareness Talk for ISQ Participants on Digital Safety

18 October 2024 – The Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI) hosted an informative Awareness Talk for 40 Industry Skills Qualification (ISQ) participants from the Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) BRUNEI. The session took place at the Program Khidmat Bakti Negara (PKBN) Training Centre in Temburong.

 

During the session, AITI introduced the organization and covered crucial topics such as:

  • Regulation of online content
  • Protection of personal data
  • Management of Quality of Service (QoS) equipment

 

Participants were encouraged to share their insights and experiences on social media platforms to help raise awareness and combat online scams. This approach aimed to foster a more informed and knowledgeable community.

 

The session featured an engaging video presentation, explaining key concepts such as online scams, personal data protection, and the dangers of spreading fake news. This was followed by an interactive quiz to reinforce understanding and ensure active participation.

 

By adopting an interactive and engaging format, AITI empowered attendees to promote digital safety and awareness within their networks. AITI remains committed to educating and equipping the community with essential knowledge to navigate the digital landscape responsibly.
