Enhancing Personal Data Protection Order (PDPO) in MTIC

On 19 May 2025, the Authority for Info-communication Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI) held a seminar on the Personal Data Protection Order (PDPO) for the Officers and Staff of the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications (MTIC) at Dewan Amar Pahlawan. The seminar, led by officers from AITI’s Data Protection Office, aimed to provide important information about personal data protection, focusing on how the PDPO applies to the public sector.

This seminar helped public sector employees to better understand about the personal data protection and the rules they need to follow, particularly regarding how the PDPO applies to their jobs. The information shared was crucial for ensuring that employees handle personal data responsibly and adhering to the rules.
